With over 20 years of project design and site construction supervision, Martin Perez is well-versed in leading design work groups, project management, negotiating with subcontractors and administering annual budgets.
Martin was promoted to the Liverpool Department Stores store planning director position in 2008. Within the planning department there are over 90 collaborators which include architects, interior planners, engineers, administrators, graphic designers and industrial designers. Managing the company’s aggressive growth is a key factor of Martin’s role. Liverpool is currently opening four to eight new stores each year and is also remodeling many of its present stores with a goal to create memorable experiences for their clients and world quality design.
Martin also leads the company efforts to raise the bar in the way projects are created and the design tools that are used to create a methodology that allows internal and external teams to be connected and in sync.
Martin previously worked with two other architecture firms where he designed and built many building types: houses, offices, public buildings, condos and hospitals. He is a 1992 Graduate of Iberoamericana University with a BA in Architecture and Urbanism and a minor in Art History.
