Krispy Kreme expands to Hawaii

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. (Winston-Salem, N.C.) has opened its first store in Hawaii, located in Kahului, Maui.

Founded in 1937, Krispy Kreme has been expanding rapidly in recent years, including its first-ever outlet in Mexico earlier this month. The specialty retailer of premium-quality doughnuts currently operates more than 350 stores in 42 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Australia and the U.K.
