Coffee People

The company motto at new Coffee People stores is “Good Coffee. No Backtalk.” Store design (by Retail Planning Associates, Columbus, Ohio) is just as hassle-free. A showcase for the art of Harry Bertoia, the stores feature his swirling, organic shapes and strong use of geometry and color. The interior is divided into three areas reflecting customer needs and party sizes: “Grab & Go,” “Get Comfortable” and “Rendezvous.” A bulletin board available for postings from the customers is an additional community-minded touch.
