Jil Sander rejoins business bearing her name

Jil Sander AG (Hamburg, Germany) announced on Tuesday that designer Jil Sander has returned to her namesake firm.

Sander, who left the fashion house shortly after Prada Group (Milan) bought a controlling interest in it in September 1999, will resume designing the apparel bearing her name. She will also sit on Prada's strategic committee, which includes Bertelli and Miuccia Prada.

Neither company released any further details about Sander's return
