Dan Evans in New Venture

Industry veteran Dan Evans, most recently president of sevencontinents (Toronto), has become president of a new company, joint llc (New York and Toronto).

Also participating in the new company are chairman Harry Shier and ceo Jim Shier, both previously of OSF Inc. (Toronto), at one time the parent company of sevencontinents; and coo Greg Katz, formerly of Manhattan Store Interiors (Brooklyn, N.Y.).

The company expects to have corporate showrooms and offices in New York soon, and to have manufacturing facilities in New York and Toronto.

Evans, who is also president of the National Association of Display Industries (NADI) said, “joint llc aims to work closely . . . with our clients in the retail and hospitality sectors, to provide a dynamic suite of services that will be highly responsive, and to provide products that will be delivered with the highest quality in the industry.”
