EduNation

EduNation, a 3700-sq.-ft. store providing “smart entertainment” for children, was designed with the Ivy League in mind. Fixtures are styled after exam-hall tables but provide plentiful capacity, with storage shelves underneath, a rack on the surface for faceout display and a circular shelf at the top for feature items. The storefront is formed of wooden Greek columns, which continue along the walls of the interior. The custom-designed perforated-metal ceiling canopy is a contemporary interpretation of a classical look, and the flooring is wood-grained vinyl.

The store also features several “key activity areas” — an interactive juice bar, CD-ROM play stations, a play area and a video sampler — highlighted by red carpet bull's eyes.
