KB Toys (Pittsfield, Mass.) will launch eToys shops in 76 KB Toys locations throughout the United States.

KB Toys acquired eToys Inc. in 2001. Its online division, KBtoys.com, re-launched the eToys web site last October. The shops will feature a variety of learning and specialty items new to KB Toys stores.

Products from Learning Curve International (Chicago), the maker of Lamaze Infant Development Systems, Thomas The Tank Engine wooden railway systems and Madeline dolls, will occupy approximately 25 percent of the new eToys shops. Other featured brands will include Neurosmith, Zapf Creation and Learning Resources.

“Our new eToys shops offer our customers an environment for high-quality learning and specialty toys that inspire a child's imagination and creativity,” said executive vp Mark Scott. “The eToys-branded merchandise focus in these select stores enhances the customer's shopping experience and reflects our online success with a broader selection of high-quality merchandise.”

Among the KB Toys locations to be converted include units at Fashion Square (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Westside Pavilion (Los Angeles), Paseo Colorado (Pasadena, Calif.), The Oaks (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), Flatiron Circle (Broomfield, Colo.), Stamford Town Center (Stamford, Conn.), Aventura Mall (Miami), Millenia Mall (Orlando), International Plaza (Tampa), Perimeter Mall (Atlanta), Oakbrook Center (Oak Brook, Ill.), Woodfield Mall (Schaumberg, Ill.), Bridgewater Commons (Bridgewater, N.J.), Fashion Show Mall (Las Vegas), Roosevelt Field (Garden City, N.Y.), The Westchester (White Plains, N.Y.), Polaris Mall (Columbus, Ohio), King of Prussia Mall (King of Prussia, Pa.), The Galleria (Houston), The Shops at Willow Bend (Plano, Texas) and Tysons Corner (McLean, Va.).
