Callison announces new associate principals; Programmed Products Corp. hires vp of design and mercha

Management Changes:

Callison (Seattle architecture, planning and design firm) has announced the following associate principals: Bryan Gailey, senior designer; Gilbert Recla, project architect and manager; Charlie Krimmert, senior project manager; Robin Holt, project manager; David Chamness, architectural designer; Carolyn Jones, project manager; Yan Yang, design architect; Mackey Deasy, project and client manager; Tom Herrera, project architect; and Andrew Smith, project architect.

Chicago Metallic Corp. (Chicago ceiling systems, doorframe systems and specialty products manufacturer) has added Ford Owen to its sales staff. Owen is responsible for coordinating the company's sales team in Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and portions of Florida, Tennessee and Virginia.

Programmed Products Corp. (PPC, Novi, Mich., retail design firm) has named Liz Muller vp of design and merchandising.

Futura Coatings Inc. (St. Louis coatings manufacturer) has hired Jim Neer as southeast regional salesman. Neer is responsible for building sales for Futura's product line in this newly-created territory of eight states in the Southeast.

Business Briefs:

Näss Fresco Finishes (Fox River Grove, Ill., plaster fresco finishes manufacturer) has announced that president Daniel Näss has been appointed to the Labor-Management Plaster Craft Committee of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. The appointment is in recognition of the company's commitment to using only skilled, union labor for applications tasks. In addition, the firm has added Tobe Fitterman as director of communications. Fitterman is a marketing and communications industry veteran and has worked for the national headquarters of IIDA in Chicago.

Auerbach + Associates (San Francisco architectural lighting design and consulting firm) has changed the names of both of the firm's divisions to reflect its expansion. Auerbach + Associates, Theatre and Media Facilities Design Consultants, has been changed to Auerbach · Pollock · Friedlander, Performing Arts/Media Facilities Planning and Design. The company's Auerbach + Glasow, Architectural Lighting Design division is now Auerbach · Glasow, Architectural Lighting Designers and Consultants.
