Gap Stores Expecting New Shops

GapMaternity, a line of maternity clothes previously available only on the web site of The Gap (San Francisco), will launch a shop in 12 BabyGap locations across the United States.

BabyGap stores in Boston (South Shore Plaza), Chicago (Michigan Avenue), Larkspur, Calif. (Village at Corte Madera), Los Angeles (The Grove at Farmer's Market), Miami (Dadeland Mall), Minneapolis (Mall of America), New York, N.Y. (18th Street and Fifth Avenue and 34th Street and Broadway), San Francisco (Embarcadero Center), San Jose, Calif. (Valley Fair), Seattle (5th and Pine) and Willowbrook, N.J. (Willowbrook Mall) will carry parts of the line. The full line will still be available at www.gap.com.

“For many women, shopping for maternity clothes with friends and family is an important part of celebrating their pregnancy,” the company said.
