Hennes & Mauritz (H&M, Stockholm, Sweden) announced the opening of two stores in the greater Cincinnati area next week. The first store will open in Cincinnati’s Kenwood Towne Center, which also recently welcomed a Nordstrom department store, and the second will be located in the Florence Mall, in Florence, Ky.

“H&M looks forward to our continued expansion in the Midwest and bringing fashion and quality at the best price to style-conscious shoppers in the area,” says Daniel Kulle, H&M’s U.S. country manager. “Since opening our first store in the U.S. market, we have built a friendship and level of trust with consumers. We have always been inspired by how well shoppers in every region interpret style and make each look their own.”

Both locations will open simultaneously on November 5 and will be the first H&M stores to arrive in the greater Cincinnati area. Each store will carry all of H&M’s concepts, including ladies, young ladies, men and young men and separate sections for lingerie and accessories, as well as full children’s departments.

The retailer also plans to introduce a line of footwear, handbags and apparel for men and women from accessories designer Jimmy Choo next month. Previous partnerships with fashion designers have included Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons and Matthew Williamson.

The H&M Group operates 1800 stores in 34 markets.
