Johnny Rockets Signs Franchise Agreement in Brazil

Johnny Rockets (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) announces a franchise agreement with restaurant entrepreneur Antonio Augusto Ribeiro de Souza to open 30 restaurants in Brazil.

The restaurant chain recently added franchise agreements in Peru and Ecuador, as well as opened its second restaurant in Chile and its first in the Dominican Republic.

“It’s our goal to open restaurants in active, thriving communities throughout South America,” says Steve Devine, president of Johnny Rockets Intl. division.

Ribeiro de Souza plans to open his first Johnny Rockets restaurant in Sao Paulo in late 2012 or early 2013.
