Just Guess?

Guess? Inc. (Los Angeles) announced that Howard Socol has resigned as director of the company. Socol has served on the company's board of directors since 1999 and is currently chairman, ceo and president of Barneys New York.

“We appreciate Howard's valuable contributions to our board and our company over the past few years,” says Maurice Marciano, Guess? co-chairman and co-ceo. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and thank him greatly for his service.”

The company has initiated a search to identify a successor to Socol to serve as an additional independent director.

Guess? Inc. designs and markets trendy, upscale apparel and accessories for men, women and children. Its lines are sold through more than 300 retail, outlet and department stores, and more than 200 licensee stores in 40 countries.
