PAVE Announces 2018-19 Board of Directors

The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) Board of Directors elected four new officers and four new directors to its board at its recent annual meeting that took place on March 26, 2018, during GlobalShop in Chicago, Illinois. The new board members of PAVE are all leaders in the retail design industry who come from a variety of backgrounds and bring a wealth of varied talents to help PAVE continue to fulfill its mission of connecting students, educators and professionals who support the retail industry in a vibrant, meaningful, and mentoring format. 

 

“As we move forward in continuing to grow and strategize PAVE's future, we are happy to announce our new PAVE Executive Board and Board of Directors, who bring great industry insights along with their individual energy and passion,” said Cindi Kato, PAVE President and Vice President/Business Development Director of Global Retail at CallisonRTKL. “We would like to thank all of them for joining our team and being a part of PAVE's continued success.”

 

Newly elected officers serving a two-year term are:

President – Cindi Kato, CallisonRTKL

Vice President Education – Nicki Albrecht, VIDPro

 

Newly elected directors serving three-year terms are:

Gwen Newland, Chick-fil-A 

Heidi DeMers, The Kroger Co.

Founded in 1992, the Planning and Visual Education Partnership's (PAVE) objective is to encourage students to study in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising. Additionally, PAVE seeks to encourage retail management, store planners, visual merchandisers, architects, and manufacturers to interact with and support design students. These objectives are accomplished through competitions, projects, seminars, workshops, and grants and scholarships funded by the annual Gala and other fundraising activities. PAVE is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation.
