Lands' End to produce licensed apparel for Major League baseball

Published

on

Lands'End (Dodgeville, Wis.) and Major League Baseball Properties have reached an agreement to produce an exclusive line of licensed apparel.

Lands'End says the line, dubbed the Major League Baseball Collection, will allow it to reach a new customer base. It will include sweatshirts, baseball caps and other items bearing the logos of all 30 Major League baseball teams, plus the All-Star Game and World Series emblems.

The apparel company, now a division of Sears Roebuck, said the merchandise will be sold through the Lands'End catalog and web site. It did not say whether or not the new line will be available in Sears stores. The agreement lasts through 2004.
