Develop brand-appropriate visual merchandising direction that supports business objectives. Communicate visual direction and ensure implementation in all outlet stores. Works closely with Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Inventory Planning, District Managers and Store Managers.

•Create diagrammed (“planogrammed”)/photographed monthly floor set documents to communicate visual merchandising direction to all outlet stores. Visual direction should address assortment tiers and variances in store designs/fixture packages.
•Develop seasonal preplans that convey visual merchandising strategies to merchant and planning partners.
•Provide recommendations to merchandising and planning partners for optimizing the assortment and maximizing the visual presentation.
•Attend weekly business review meetings; develop and communicate visual updates that support immediate business needs.
•Participate in development of signage/graphic rollouts with Merchandising, Marketing and Creative teams.
•Establish and communicate visual standards through ongoing development and updating of Visual Merchandising Standards manual.
•Ensure consistency of visual presentation by coaching and training store teams/District Managers during periodic store visits.
•Occasional participation in store openings for additional support and training as needed.
•Provide recommendations to Creative and Sourcing partners for development of packaging to optimize presentation.
•Track visual merchandising trends in the market and translate to Hanna Andersson's brand positioning.
Interacts regularly with Merchandising, Inventory, Marketing and other departments as well as District Managers and Store Managers.
No supervisory responsibilities. Guidance and direction provided by Director of Visual Merchandising.
Specific Job Skills:
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
•Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop required.
•Exceptional organization and time-management skills are a must.
•Able to work from assortment plan spreadsheets and product illustrations (in lieu of product samples) to be able to create merchandising planograms.
•Proven ability to successfully implement and complete projects with attention to accuracy and commitment to deadlines.
•Creative problem-solving ability.
•Ability to combine creativity and innovation with sales-driven focus in approach to visual merchandising.
•Strong negotiating, planning, prioritizing and leadership skills with ability to act as a liaison with cross-functional teams.

•Must possess physical ability to lift and move product and merchandising fixtures.
•Must not be colorblind.
•Must possess verbal and written communication skills and abilities.
•Must be physically able to travel to all geographic store locations as needed (30% travel required).
Education and Experience:
•3-5 years experience in retail visual merchandising is required including previous responsibility for communicating visual direction to multiple stores.
•Corporate level experience strongly preferred.
•Experience in apparel preferred; children's apparel and/or outlet-specific experience a plus!
•Degree or college coursework in related field preferred.
