WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR The purpose of the Senior Designer (Creative Designer) – Retail is to execute highly creative and sometimes complex design solutions for retail merchandising, marketing and branding graphics, store design, and/or décor. This position is responsible for creating a retail graphics launch plan/matrix to support corporate initiatives in all retail venues. This position will be responsible for leading small teams’ through unique retail store design/graphics needs. A Creative Designer will partner with Creative Managers, Production Artists, Copywriters, and Marketing clients to ensure consistency of the brand image/message including partnering with traffic managers on production oversight.
 
Requirements • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Graphic Design or Commercial Art • 3-5 years’ Retail or Retail Interior design experience • Previous experience leading teams • Superior skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Solid skills in MS Word and Outlook; basic skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint • 3D Rendering skills preferred • Photoshoot planning experience preferred • Visual merchandising experience a plus • Experience designing for both Mass and specialty retailers is a plus • Proven ability to work with concept, layout, typography, photography and die lines incorporating detailed production skills • Critical thinking skills • General marketing and merchandising knowledge • Excellent visual aesthetic • Strong written communication and presentation skills • Candidates must include a link to an on-line portfolio to be considered for the position
