Axis Display Group Hires New Director of 3D Design & Retail Environments

Axis Display Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its creative team with the recent hire of Bill Turner. Bill will serve as Director of 3D Design & Retail Environments, providing yet another layer of design specialty and niche expertise to AXIS.

“I’ve been in the industry since it was referred to as POP and concepts were drawn using things called markers,” says Bill. “I’m committed.”

Bill’s well-crafted talents enable him to quickly and efficiently streamline designs and ensure form and function resonate just as highly as visual appeal. He is exceptionally skilled at navigating the minutia of project asks, adhering to tight timelines, and executing design integrity, consistency, and clarity at each platform and scale.

“I view the design process as a joint effort between the client and me…I gain inspiration from who the potential market is, and look at unique angles for how to best reach that audience. Above all, I give my clients what they want – after all, they know themselves best, right? I believe there is a bit of alchemy in design; inspiration can come from unexpected places and should be embraced and pursued,” explains Bill.

Prior to joining Axis Display Group, Bill functioned as Design Director for RTC for over 19 years.

Outside of the office, Bill designs and builds 3-string guitars from recycled and repurposed materials. He is also completing the final installment of his humorous fiction novel trilogy.
