IKEA (Leiden, Netherlands) is now allowing shoppers to pay for goods with their time, according to Forbes.

Specifically the retailer’s Dubai, U.A.E., location is running a campaign called “Buy With Your Time,” that lets customers use their time like currency. In order to participate, customers must show checkout staff their Google Maps timeline to prove how much time they spent traveling to the store. Its “time currency prices” are based on an average Dubai salary.

According to Forbes, customers spend an unusual amount of time traveling to IKEA outlets due to their placement on the “outskirts of towns,” which helped birth the idea of the promotion.
