During his session, “Alltown: A Fresh New Approach to the Convenience Retailing Experience,” Kessel spoke about how Alltown (Waltham, Mass.) has gained market share by offering fresh cut fruit and snacks, artisanal sandwiches and flatbread pizzas and other better-for-you options to appeal to a new demographic.
