Starbucks Debuts Vietnam Flagship

Starbucks Coffee Co. (Seattle) has opened its first flagship in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The two-story space was designed to reflect Starbuck’s 42-year history while incorporating local traditions through decor, which was sourced locally. For example, a community teakwood table was purchased from a local villa, while a “ba gac,” or bicycle, stands out as a focal piece of art on the first floor. In addition, wall mural designs created by local artists are showcased.

Starbucks will offer some traditional items from its menu as well as specialty drinks, such as an Asian Dolce Latte, which was introduced as part of its opening celebration.
