CAD Administrator - Store Planning and Design - New York, NY - Hudson's Bay Company

The main objective for this position is to streamline and standardize the use of CAD between all HBC banners.  Within Store Planning Design and Construction teams. The main area of responsibility is to enforce, maintain and continually develop the company cross banner CAD standards and procedures, user support, administration and process development.
• Audit the CAD usage within each banner’s store planning/design team in order to recommend best practice for all banners. 
• Develop, implement and enforce CAD Standards 
• Provide leadership and vision to the company in the area of CAD 
• Organize the CAD environment 
• Maintain standard CAD libraries 
• Customization of CAD Programs 
• Provide training and supervision of in-house CAD users
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Manger in a department store environment supporting store planning, design and construction 
• Strong technical understanding of AutoCAD  (preferably other related items) 
• Strong skills and familiarity with data-related tools: Excel, Microsoft Access, etc 
• Strong interpersonal skill and willingness to engage in "standards enforcement" 
• Strong communication skills.
