General Overview:
The Visual Merchandising Junior Planner is responsible for the publication of the Guidelines visual directive and supports the Visual Merchandising Planner in the creation of in-line schematics by department, conducting sku analysis, coordinating productivity reports, generating location by sku reports and photographs when needed. The Junior Planner will support the publishing and distribution of these visual directives to stores according to the production calendar. 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Guidelines Publication
·         Solicit content and samples from merchandising for endcap and focus table set-ups
·         Conduct pre-walk with individual merchandising teams prior to management walk-thru
·         Ensure Guidelines content directly reflects advertising and promotional strategies
·         Create and distribute draft and final Guideline packets as scheduled on the production calendar
Schematic Support
·         Assist Visual Merchandising Planners with In-Line and Seasonal Shop set-up and publication
·         Own development of specific In-Line Schematic and/or Shop assignment
·         Work with merchant partners to insure maximum capacity and exposure of key drivers
·         Participate in weekly Visual Planning team meetings
·         Assist with other projects as needed
Fixture Management
·         Manage small – frequent usage – fixtures in Sample House
·         Build fixtures and set up departments in preparation for schematics
Productivity Analysis
·         Provide Inventory Management with accurate and timely skus lists for all Guidelines, Shops and Events.
·         Prepare and publish results of analysis for Guidelines (including bulkstacks), Shops and Events
·         Maintain quarterly productivity reports and insure analysis is complete
Job Requirements:
·         1-3 years of Visual Merchandising in a retail environment or equivalent
·         Knowledge and understanding of the relation between product and shelf space
·         Customer service orientation with the ability to maintain positive attitude in all situations
·         Team oriented with excellent time management and organization skills
·         Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
·         Must be multi-task oriented and flexible
·         Must possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and energy to meet deadlines
·         Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photo Shop and Microsoft Office Suite
·         Ability to lift 25-30lbs
·         Associate degree required
