Position:                     Coordinator of Global Visual Merchandising and Store Design
Reporting to:              Director of Visual Merchandising & Design  
The Coordinator of Global Visual Merchandising and Store Design has the responsibility for assisting the leadership and development of Visual Merchandising standards worldwide.  This includes shop layouts, development and design, product presentation standards, creative concept and development of display/merchandising tools along with partnering and supporting store experience and marketing initiatives.   
Partner with Director of Visual Merchandising & Store Design to execute the following:

  • Store Design and Construction

o   Review region-driven shop layouts and designs, providing feedback and direction based off of Fresh Merchandising Standards
o   Ability to develop working knowledge of brand identity and aesthetics, with an extraordinary attention to detail
o   Review shop drawings and red-line construction documents
o   Source new materials, samples and vendors on a by-need basis to support local markets and/or global Merchandising developments
o   Track and update weekly Global Store Design tracker, ensuring all projects are maintaining schedule and budget

  • Soft Merchandising

o   Track, research and assure implementation of Best Practices in merchandising initiatives:  visual standards, program implementation and in-store merchandising on a global basis.
o   Create and maintain ‘Merchandising Libraries’ for new product launches, inclusive of planograms, animations, and additional enhancements
o   Assist in development of soft merchandising tools as requested by regional markets

  • Additional Responsibilities

·         o   Manage image library of global shops and openings
o   Manage central Merchandising invoices and administrative work
o   Manage and execute additional projects on as-needed basis

Qualifications and Expectations
·         3-4 years in Visual Merchandising and Store Design, with a strong desire to grow and learn
·         Store knowledge and interest in retail design and fabrication/production
·         Planogram experience preferable
·         Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task
·         Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft programs required
·         Experience in luxury retail preferred
·         Strong team spirit with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
                 ·         Passion for cosmetics retailing and entreprenuerial work environment
