We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Experience Design Lead, to join our Milwaukee, WI based design team.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will leverage your retail design expertise, to provide strategic direction to retail design projects around the globe (new dealerships and remodels), provide project management guidance and act as a central design. You will work closely with Visual Presentation Manager to develop appropriate designs, retail tools, and space allocations to support the business needs; manage design firms, architects, and other vendors on an ongoing basis; and interact with regions around the globe to drive consistent individuality throughout the entire dealer network. This position is a primary focus on bringing the Harley-Davidson Customer Experience to life through compelling retail environments and integrated shopping experiences.
This role collaborates with a variety of internal departments, including Visual Management, General Merchandise, Parts and Accessories Customization, Motorcycles, Marketing, Dealer Service, Field Operations, and the Dealer Network to coordinate program requirements on an ongoing basis.
Education Required:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or like course of study.
Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 (seven) years of experience in retail design. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit.
• Familiar with Adobe creative suite.
• Must have experience in budget management.
• Possess a high level of design skills.
• Ability to sketch and draw.
• Has a deep understanding and passion for blending design aesthetics with functional requirements, and analytics to drive results.
• Has knowledge of millwork standards, construction materials, details and processes.
• Up to date on retail tools and trends in the marketplace.
• Must have an understanding and ability to drive entire project from strategic level to smallest details.
