Always an audience favorite, leave behind the conference room setting for an urban adventure in a city known for its active, outdoor lifestyle and 300 days of sunshine annually. River North Art District

Denver’s River North Art District is located two miles north of IRDC’s host hotel, The Sheraton Denver Downtown, and was named by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 must-visit neighborhoods in the U.S. “RiNo,” as it’s known by locals, is packed with hip restaurants, brewpubs, art galleries and street murals, and some of the best indie retail in town

Lower Downtown

Step outside of our host hotel to explore “LoDo,” or the Lower Downtown area, which includes the 16th Street pedestrian mall, historic Union Station and Larimer Square. Also nearby are a wealth of stylish restaurants, artisan coffee shops and local boutiques nestled in among national brands as well as Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies MLB team.

South Broadway

South Broadway’s funky, boho vibe make it a popular neighborhood among Denver’s hip and trendy. Architecture aficionados should check out the Mayan Theatre, a 1930s art deco movie house that was restored during the ’80s. “SoBo’s” artistic side is evident through the art and murals that line its streets as well as its diverse mix of live music venues.

If you’re up for the challenge, put on your walking shoes, choose your destination, grab a few friends and head out for adventure. Some of the most interesting corners of this fast-paced, ever-evolving city are just steps away from the Sheraton Denver Downtown hotel.
