Linda Cahan is an internationally recognized expert in visual merchandising with over 35 years of marketplace experience. Linda's breadth of experience is in all segments of retail, working with major retail corporations as well as hundreds of independent retailers as a Visual Merchandising and Store Design consultant. Linda builds and trains visual merchandising teams, gives seminars on a wide variety of retail design topics nationally and internationally, and is a columnist for three B2B magazines. Linda is the author of three books as well as nine custom corporate visual standards guides for major retail corporations, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Lancome, United Rentals, American Express TRS, and Singer. Linda taught at The Art Institute of Portland for eight years and at Parsons School of Design in NYC for twelve years. She lives in Portland, OR.
